Wine & Dine The Greyhound has an excellent reputation for food and drink throughout Cumbria. All of our dishes are freshly prepared to your order, with all of our meat coming from local suppliers. This enables us to have one of the lowest 'food miles' menus without compromising on quality and supporting our local producers. There is also a chef's specials board for evening meals which changes on a daily basis, with fish as our chef's speciality. The pub also has 8 traditional hand-pulled ales, a selection of lagers and spirits and a wide selection of carefully chosen wines to compliment your meal or just to enjoy in the bar.

Evening menu (served every day from 6pm - 9pm) Starters Home made Soup of the Day served with bread & butter (please see our specials board or ask a member of staff) Mr Bellas' Black Pudding topped with fresh cranberries and melted red cheddar cheese Chef's home-made Chicken Liver Pate with hot buttered toast, our home-made Cumberland sauce and salad Moules Mariniere cooked in a white wine, garlic and cream sauce with crusty bread Mango and Brie parcels with a balsamic dressing Lemon Chicken and Tarragon Terrine on a bed of lettuce and salad, with red onion marmalade and balsamic dressing Please keep an eye out for the specials board for a few of the old favourites, and a few new ideas!
